An incredibly tough question…
What is your favorite West Wing moment?
Simple. Season 2 finale.
Mrs. Landingham has died and Bartlet has just revealed he is suffering from MS.
Cue “Brothers In Arms” by Dire Straits.
In the Oval Office, Bartlet has a vision of Mrs. Landingham, who tells him that if he isn’t going to run for re-election because he thinks he won’t win or because it will be too hard, she doesn’t even want to know him.
As a result, he travels to the State Department to attend a press conference and standing in front of the press, soaking wet from the storm outside, he is asked if he will run for re-election.
In response, he puts his hands in his pockets, looks off to the side, and smiles.
